Batter up for the 2024 Little League World Series that begins today in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. A most popular youth sports tournament for 10-12 year olds has grown in fan interest with increased media coverage, similar to the College World Series in Omaha. This year’s Little League Baseball World Series features a total of 38 games shown daily on ESPN.
Meet The Teams - Little League World Series
The LLWS runs from Aug. 14 to Aug. 25. The International Championship Game and United States Championship Game on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. ET are televised nationally on CBS.
The Little League World Series Championship Game is Sunday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. ET on CBS with the 3rd place game at 10 a.m. on ESPN2.
While the U.S. presidential election betting markets are providing fascinating fodder and entertainment with millions of dollars wagered on the elections at offshore betting sites, the Little League World Series is also driving watch and wager interest on a smaller scale.

Little League Bracket
There are 10 teams on each side of the United States bracket and the International bracket. United States teams have won the last five LLWS, with the last International champion coming in 2017 by perennial powerhouse and 17-time champ, Chinese-Taipei, who is the favorite on the International side.
"We're excited to set the market when it comes to LLWS odds for the third straight year,” Burns added in his correspondence and email. “This is a time-honored, incredible tournament run by a first-class organization. Allowing fans to bet on these nationally-televised games only puts more attention on the league, teams and these talented youth athletes."
In 2022, the Little League World Series expanded from 16 to 20 teams, and now implements byes randomly assigned to four teams. The Little League World Series official website provides insight into the LLWS expansion, schedule and coverage.
"Playing just one game at any of our World Series tournaments would not provide enough of the once-in-a-lifetime experience Little League players and their families deserve. With the expansion, some baseball teams will be randomly assigned a "bye" game, to fit into a modified double-elimination schedule."

While the betting limits are reduced for little league baseball games and capped at a maximum of $500, the interest and wagering action has driven notable moneyline movement and futures odds.
"Action is already heavy and constant so the lines are as volatile as ever,” Burns said. We've moved a number of teams' positions within the bracket futures markets, and one of the games has flipped favorites."
